On our way to see craters of the moon Wayne saw this sign and thought he might hunt elephants but he was too late.

We had a great evening at the Manti Temple. Wayne,s gg grandfather Cox was one of the first settlers in Manti in 1869. This is a replica of the dugout they would have lived in the first winter.

Happy Thanksgiving

We just had great dinner at Curt and Marianns. We are already missing our kids but so far so good. Had a chance to visit with Bruce and Jacque and some of their family yesterday.

Curt had a cell phone ready for us to use while we are gone. It has limited minutes during the day but still ample for short conversations but after 8 pm and week ends its free so we can then converse as long as we want. The number is 1-435-879-1871.

Day one

We managed to get away about 10 this morning. We planned on doing some shopping in Great Falls but the radio was saying snow and high winds for tomorrow  so we came on to Butte so we are over the pass. In the Best Western right next to a shopping center.

Visa has arrived

Here goes on our new adventure of having a Blog as well as going on a mission. My visa arrived yesterday at 4:00 PM so now we are in the last preparations to leave. We plan to be heading out Monday morning and spending time with Waynes brothers Bruce and Curt and families. Its their thanksgiving week. Monday morning we enter the MTC and are there till Sat. morning when we leave for Pinon, Arizona.
